Officially.. Barcelona signs a new player

The Spanish club Barcelona has signed a new player, to restore the ranks of the club’s reserve team, Barcelona Athletic, in the coming period, as the club officially announced the assignment of Argentine player Lucas Roman.

Roman signed his transfer contracts to Barca to remain in the Camp Nou under the contract until June 2026, and the Catalan club set the value of the penalty clause in his contract at 400 million euros.

The 18-year-old player plays as a right winger, and his contract cost the Barca treasury an amount of one million and 200 thousand euros, coming from Ferro Carril Oeste, the competitor in the Argentine second division.

Barcelona stated in the statement that the player signed the contracts in the presence of Juan Soler, director of the club’s youth sector, and Jose Ramon Alexano, general manager of the youth sector, and then Roman went to a photo session in the Blaugrana shirt at Johan Cruyff Stadium.

Roman’s level developed with the Argentine team, and he graduated in the club’s age groups since he was 7 years old, until he reached the first team, and last season he participated in 27 matches, scoring 3 goals and assisting a goal with the under-19 team.
