Julian Nagelsmann has only made one change compared to the cup win against FC Augsburg during the week: Kingsley Coman moved into the first eleven for Sadio Mané. According to Nagelsmann, the Senegalese were spared for the important encounter coming this week in the Champions League against FC Barcelona.

With the injury of Thomas Müller, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was allowed to start again.

Jamal Musiala opened the score in the 17th minute to put Bayer on Front with 1 goal to nil.

After a very fast start, the Bavarians shifted down a gear, but the Munich team remained dangerous. After a missed pass by Nsoki, which Kimmich intercepted, then Gnabry set Choupo-Moting perfectly and the Cameroonian extended Bayern’ lead to 2-0. For the 33-years-old it was his third goal in three games in row.
