Allegri: “Juventus are still not in the Europa League”

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri insists that the Bianconeri are not yet out of the Champions League and believes that it will take more strength to win the Benfica’ game tomorrow.
The Bianconeri are desperate to beat the Portuguese side tomorrow as three points will keep their hopes of qualification alive.
“We are not in the Europa League, and we are not yet out of the Champions League. We will try to keep our hopes alive,” Allegri said in a press conference.
Juventus must win their remaining two games in Group H of the Champions League against Benfica and PSG and hope their opponents do not beat Maccabi Haifa.
If PSG or Benfica get a draw against the Israelis, then Juventus must beat them both to qualify for the round of 16. The situation is very complicated, but Allegri still believes that the Old Lady team can succeed.
“Benfica have their fate in their hands, even if they defend tomorrow. Tomorrow, we need the same performance as in the first leg, which was good for a long part,” he said. “We have to be strong for a long time and be careful in defense, knowing that Benfica have quality. We have to be in the game, without panic and play as a unit.”
Benfica beat Juventus 2-1 in the reverse fixture in Turin last month, but Allegri is optimistic: “The first leg was a fantastic game.”
The coach was questioned about the 3-5-2 playing system as in the last two Serie A games against Torino and Empoli? “I had some players, who are doing well”, the coach said. “Perhaps, we will change something tomorrow. Tomorrow, we need a good defensive game, and we must create chances like in the first match, trying to avoid the mistakes we made in Turin.”
