Messi wants a rest before world cup

Former Barcelona captain and current Paris Saint-Germain star Lionel Messi wants some rest ahead of the World Cup in Qatar this month, press reports have confirmed.

This came according to the journalist Idol Gaston, an employee of the T.Y.C. network, who previously had more than one talk with the Argentine star.

Gaston said Messi could ask Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier not to play the team’s last game before the World Cup.

Paris has three meetings before the World Cup, starting with Juventus this evening, before playing against Lorian next Sunday and against Aussie the following week.

The Argentine will play the World Cup in Group III, which includes Saudi Arabia and Mexico, as well as Poland.
