Antoine Griezmann’s double gives the victory to Atlético Madrid against Bétis

While Nabil Fékir reduced the score at the end of the match, Antoine Griezmann scored a double to hands the victory to Atlético Madrid against Real Bétis (1-2), this Sunday during the match week 11 of LaLiga Santander.

It’s the fourth victory in the last five league matches for the Colchoneros who are back in third place and taking a three-point lead over Bétis (5th).

Griezmann was definitely at his best and the Atlético takes full advantage of that. In a tight encounter between two competitive teams in the table, the Frenchman led the Colchoneros to victory on Estadio Benito Villamarín.

He opened the scoring with a direct corner straight into the net of Rui Silva (54′), then doubled his tally (70′). the hosts reacted with the entry of Nabil Fekir from the bench, as the Frenhman reduced the score with a free kick (84′), but it was the visitors who recorded a major victory against a direct competitor in the top positions of the league.
