La Liga Team of the Week: Barcelona’ players dominate in match week 11

With the wrap of match week 11 of La Liga, on Monday night, WhoScored.com revealed the team of the week.

It was a game week that highlighted by Barcelona’s Excellent Performance against Athletic Bilbao, and therefore, four players were included in the team of the week, led by Ousmane Dembele and his exceptional performance that saw the french winger contribute in all his team four goals by scoring one and assisting three. Dembele  was accompanied by Sergio Roberto, Alejandro Balde and current La Liga top goal scorer, Robert Lewandowski.

Antoine Griezmann’s two goals for Atlético Madrid against Real Betis earned him a place in the team, while a maestro performance in the midfield from Dani Parejo (Villarreal) and Monchu (Real Valladolid) led them both to be included.

Rayo Vallecano were represented by two players, winger Alvaro Garcia and defender Florian Lejeune were the stars of the show that saw the home team thrash Cazdiz CF with five goals to one.

Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo scores magnificently from close range to rescue a point for Celta Vigo against Getafe, as the home side leveled the score in the 89 minutes.

The goalkeeper position was secured by Geronimo Rulli, the Villarreal keeper helped the team to secure the victory against Almeria, as the Argentinian reached a tally of seven successful saves during the Yellow Submarine 2-1 victory.
