Calvert-Lewin scored after 11 minutes from the start. Anthony Gordon doubled the lead in the 18th minute of the second half, then Dwight McNeil – who came off the bench – scored in the 39th minute of the second half to seal Everton’s victory.

Frank Lampard’s team climbed four places to the 11th place with 13 points after 12 games, while Palace fell to the 12th place with 13 points and one game less.

The result put an end to Palace’s three league games unbeaten and also means they haven’t won an away game this season.
