Napoli emerged victorious from a difficult encounter against Roma on Sunday night thanks to a late strike from Victor Osimhen.

It was a hard-fought game between two ambitious club showed their intentions this season, as Rome (4th) hosted Napoli (1st) in a 6 pointers clash.

Jose Mourinho’s side could have moved to within a point of the league leaders with a victory, but it was the visitors who got the goal they needed to extend their unbeaten record in the league.

The visitors showed their superiority and why they are the current leader of Serie A, as they controlled most of the position (60%) and had more shoots (12 to 6) as they hit the target five times, as the hosts failed completely to test Alex Meret with Zero shoots on target in the whole 90 minutes.

Roma miss the chance to move back into the top four, as they lost their position in the beginning of the match week, and drop to the 5th place with 22 points, 2 points away from the 4th place (Atalanta)
